Job Description
Our client who provides global technical services, technology capability and major project delivery in both Upstream and Downstream activities is looking to recruit a Maintenance & Integrity Engineer to join their team.
Accountabilities are:
Accountable for delivery of specific M&I support within a program from beginning to end; customer and stakeholder management, scope definition, execution, assurance, close out and capturing of lessons learned, as a subject matter expert or in delivering a specific theme within the program.
Lead (for small programs) or participate (for large, integrated programs) in the delivery of a program or Maintenance & Integrity discipline themes within large integrated programs and business improvement projects, e.g. Upstream Operations Excellence development and roll out, refinery operations and asset management improvement program.
Contribute to technology development in his discipline, adding value to the business.
Customer engagement at project, asset and Operation Unit leadership level, advising and coaching management teams, engineering and technical staff.
Anticipate, assess and initiate reliability management developments, liaising with other skill groups and major clients and integrating developments in other fields into own activities. Define technological requirements for shorter and longer term in own field of expertise in the wider technical and business context and plan accordingly.
Requirements:
The candidate should have a technical academic background in engineering (all disciplines) and operations, excellent interpersonal skills, commercial and Change Management knowledge and negotiating skills. International experience with leading multicultural organizations is preferred.
Key competences:
Professional knowledge in Maintenance & Integrity Engineering, both breadth and depth, complemented by good knowledge of related disciplines.
Your ability to motivate, coach and develop, to deliver superior performance; while appreciating the strength of diversity and strong team ethics.
